Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in the local area. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a healthcare facility. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care with a focus on evidence-based practices and teamwork.

Job Details

• Certifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) License, BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale.
• Education Requirements: Active CA RN license.
• Experience Requirement: At least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, at least 2 years of ICU experience, travel experience required.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience in accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, CVP monitoring, renal failure management, IV sedation and paralytics management, stroke care, electronic intensive care unit (eICU), emergency medications, airway management including tracheostomy and suctioning, respiratory failure management, ventilator management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
• Responsibilities include providing patient care to adult and geriatric patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and complying with facility protocols.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload their CA RN licensure, certifications with valid expiration dates, and two references obtained within the last year.
