Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights located in the medical facility at Las Colinas. This role involves providing specialized patient care on a unit that requires at least 2 years of RN experience in PCU or higher. The position offers a night shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, minimum of 2 years working as an RN in PCU with telemetry interpretation skills, and experience with PCU level of care or higher (no med surg nurses)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical cardiac drips, hematoma management post-sheath removal
• Additional Information: The unit has 11 beds with a staff of 20, including a charge nurse and techs on both day and night shifts as needed. Patient ratios are typically 4:1 but can be 5:1 if a tech is present. Equipment includes bedside vital signs machines in each room, and Meditech EMR is utilized. The role may require floating to medical/surgical units. Candidates should be team players with excellent communication, customer service skills, and a positive attitude.
