Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position in a healthcare facility located in the region. The role involves providing urgent and comprehensive care in a fast-paced ER environment. The assignment includes working a 12-hour day shift, with every other weekend required, for a duration of 13 weeks. The candidate must be comfortable floating to additional departments if necessary.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts (MA) license, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Must have 2 or more years of recent emergency room experience. Additionally, at least 1 year of previous travel experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role requires successful completion of a telemetry test on the first day, which will be pass/fail; failure may result in termination of employment. Study materials will be provided at the time of assignment confirmation. The candidate must have completed a flu vaccine during onboarding; declinations are not accepted. A biweekly orientation session is part of the onboarding process. Candidates must be separated from any similar employment for a minimum of 6 months (including perm, per diem, or contract).
