Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. This role involves assessing patients` physical, psychological, and social needs, developing and implementing care plans, providing patient education, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Michigan/MILicense, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), two or more years of medical-surgical experience, experience floating to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), proficiency with telemetry, the ability to read and interpret heart rhythms, Covid vaccination (exemptions allowed)
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The RN will work under the supervision of unit management, responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and execution, along with patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration. Must participate in ongoing training and team activities, attend staff meetings, and follow hospital policies to ensure patient safety and quality of care. The assignment duration is from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
