Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available at a busy healthcare facility. This role involves providing acute patient care in a Level 2 Trauma Center with a focus on trauma and critical patients. The position supports a team nursing approach within a fast-paced environment and requires adaptability to various shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Indiana or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC or ATCN certification, NIHSS strongly preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center setting, specific proficiency with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration
• Additional Information: Orientation scheduled Monday through Friday during week 1 and Monday-Tuesday during week 2, with mandatory attendance for all 7 days. Orientation will involve 8-hour days. The unit features a 40-room facility, including non-monitored, monitored, and resuscitation bays, operating with a Team Nursing approach.
• Licensing: Candidate must have a license to submit
• Shift Notes: Shifts may be scheduled across different days as needed, with all shifts possible during the assignment window.
