Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
MedSurg Nurse (MS) Night Shift Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients on a medical-surgical floor in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The nurse will deliver comprehensive patient care, coordinate treatments, and support recovery efforts for individuals with conditions such as stroke, amputation, or major surgeries.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Reporting time is 6:45 pm.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN certification, BLS certification, associate or bachelors degree in nursing, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in medical-surgical units, strong problem-solving and leadership skills, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care approach.
- Additional Information: The position is a contractor replacement, supporting a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Equipment utilized includes IV pumps, EKG machines, Bari beds, and medication dispensing systems. The EHR systems in use include Cerner and Epic.
