Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a high-volume trauma environment. This position involves providing critical care to trauma patients, post-surgical patients, and those requiring specialized invasive procedures. The role demands efficient, organized, and driven professionals capable of managing complex clinical situations in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; must be in submission packet. No scheduled time off or special scheduling requests accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in large trauma facilities; familiarity with procedures including trauma patient care, post-coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), post-transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes advanced equipment and technology, and staff with tenure and extensive experience are valued. The environment is dynamic and requires personnel with a positive attitude and strong engagement skills.
