Registered Nurse / Utilization Review Exp

Job Summary
Utilization Review (UR) Extension Specialist position located remotely. This role involves managing utilization review processes, working closely with healthcare providers, and utilizing electronic medical records and UM tools. The position requires strong remote work capabilities, experience with Epic electronic medical records, and prior travel experience is highly preferred. The assignment duration is from October 5, 2026, to January 2, 2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every fifth weekend rotation. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in utilization management or a related field; CCM (Case Management Certification) or CMCN (Case Management Certified Nurse) certification; experience with Epic electronic medical records; proficiency with the Dragonfly utilization management tool; reliable remote work experience; degree accreditation verification or five years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience.
• Additional Information: This role involves floating to sister campuses as needed. All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; requests after submission will not be approved. The culture emphasizes team integration and functioning as core staff in the units. The deadline for completing required documentation is the Monday before the start date.
