Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing patient care in a high-volume, Level III trauma center within a modern emergency department. The position supports a diverse patient population with complex medical conditions, emphasizing trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation procedures.

- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department
- Number of Openings: 1
- Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) all from the American Heart Association
- Years of Experience: 2 years preferred, minimum 0 years required
- Unit Details:
- Trauma Level: 3
- Bed Capacity: 48 with flex space
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 in main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track
- Equipment: Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle, Istat Point of Care, Ultrasound-Guided IV
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner
- Staffing Model: Team nursing and pod system with social worker and departmental educator support
- Patient Populations include patients with ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, and other common emergency conditions
