Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility in Austin, Texas. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks, with scheduled shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting patient stabilization and safety.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Position: Emergency Room (ER) RN
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/04/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, certifications in ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS; minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing; ability to work in Austin, Texas.
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech electronic medical record experience, trauma care experience, inpatient experience, CPI certification.
• Additional Information: The unit features 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds. Staff of 111 includes day and night shift teams with specialized skill sets. Equipment on site includes Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers. Candidates should be team players and multitaskers, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle trauma assistance, behavioral health de-escalation, and airway support. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
