Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Night Shift Reno, NV. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, level 2 trauma center serving a 500-mile radius. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring safety, assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, minimum
• Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience; prior travel assignment of one 13-week period required; valid certifications including AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level II trauma center and in a high-volume emergency environment.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float according to organizational needs up to their competency level. Flexibility to work major holidays, weekends, and call shifts may be necessary. The position involves intensive mental effort for safe patient care and may include working in a highly demanding environment.
