Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Days The organization is seeking an ER Nurse to join the emergency department team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license(s) with an active NY State license and all RN licensures documented; current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications in hand; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience; minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency department settings with some pediatric experience; travel experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with rapid infusor and Arctic Sun specialty equipment; charge capability experience is highly preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit features 64 beds, including 2 triage, 40 acute care, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 clinical decision unit (CDU), and 6 psychiatric beds. Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Scrub color designated as navy blue.
