Registered Nurse / Nurse Educator

Job Summary:
The Nurse Educator position is located in the healthcare organizations acute care setting. The role involves assessing staff educational needs, planning, coordinating, conducting, and evaluating educational programs such as orientation and professional development initiatives. The incumbent will serve as an educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, role model, mentor, and leader, aiming to promote adult learning, improve patient outcomes, and advance professional growth within the nursing division.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher, BLS/ACLS-American Heart Association certification; BLS and ACLS instructor certifications are required prior to start. Must have 3 to 5 years of experience; critical care experience is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated leadership experience are essential.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Endoscopy (ENDO), central processing, and operating room (OR).
• Additional Information: This role requires separation from the organization for at least six months to be considered. The candidate must pass ECG/telemetry and medication tests prior to acceptance within one attempt, administered via Zoom. Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation, with an 85% passing score. Preparation using the provided study guide is recommended.
