Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in a day shift setting. The position involves providing expert patient care in a cardiac-focused intensive care unit, requiring strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to assess patient conditions rapidly and accurately. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with cardiology-specific procedures and devices, including POD 0 Open Hearts, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and Impella devices.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, 2 years of ICU Cardiovascular experience, including CVICU experience with POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP, and Impella devices. Must have NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to communicate, coordinate, and delegate effectively in a high-pressure environment; thorough knowledge of arrhythmia management, pathophysiology, and hemodynamics.
• Additional Information: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility and be available for a period from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026. Call coverage required. Must submit only candidates who meet all the listed qualifications clearly on their resume.
