Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in the healthcare field. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain professional standards and promote patient-centered care. The role involves assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating responses to interventions in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan nursing license; completion of a skills checklist within one year; ACLS (American Heart Association) certification; BLS; NIHSS; minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Intensive Care Unit and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit; float capabilities to CVICU; Michigan license verification and relevant documentation such as LARA and Nursys; experience with clinical interview process
• Additional Information: The position follows the organization`s clinical interview process, with outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and compliance with the strict attendance policy, which prohibits absence or lateness more than 3 times.
