Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) with Open Heart specialization in a healthcare facility located in Arlington, TX. This position involves assisting with a variety of surgical procedures, excluding transplants, within a fast-paced surgical unit. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and experience working with advanced surgical procedures and specific electronic medical record systems.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience, Meditech electronic medical record experience, and valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro, vascular, or advanced procedures; ECRP (Electroconvulsive Repetitive Program) experience is a plus.
• Additional Information: This role involves call and holiday coverage as part of the unit`s staffing schedule. The unit features 10 Operating Rooms and 2 Endoscopy Suites, with a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:1. Equipment used includes general surgical anesthesia techs and specialized surgical tools. The ideal candidate is flexible and a strong team player.
