Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in an acute care setting. The role involves floating between medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, and cardiology units, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a start date of 10/19/2026 and end date of 01/18/2027, requiring a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, two years of relevant experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units, BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, IV start and telemetry experience, NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and experience managing central lines, CVA care, feeding tube management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, PPE and isolation precautions, and wound care.

  • Float: Yes. Will float across medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, and cardiology units within scope to meet facility needs.

  • Pending License Accepted: Yes.
  • RTO Restrictions: Max of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract; no additional RTO requests can be made after submission or start.
  • Special Requirements: Lift devices training required, ceiling lifts, bladder scanner, and optional training provided.
  • Hospital Highlights: Short Term Acute Care; free parking; charting system in EPIC; patient census ranges from 28 to 50 patients per day; interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and physical therapy.
  • Additional Notes: Must meet compliance deadlines, complete required modules through WorkRamp prior to start, and ensure all certifications are current.
  • License Info: State-specific license requirements apply; no local candidates within 75 miles allowed.
