Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves supporting surgical teams during trauma, general surgery, plastics (including microsurgery), and vascular procedures. The role requires circulating and scrub skills, with a focus on trauma cases, and offers a dynamic environment working primarily on nights. The assignment provides an opportunity to work with advanced surgical techniques and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room Nurse (Scrub & Circulate)
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• End Date: 01/25/2027
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid IA/COMPACT license
  • Large trauma experience
  • Strong circulating and scrub skills in general surgery, plastics (including microsurgery), and vascular (open and endovascular) procedures
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
  • At least 2 years of OR experience
  • Must have circulator and scrub skills checklist in sub-packet with strong skills in specified areas
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with microsurgery and vascular techniques
• Additional Information:
  • Must have circulating and scrub experience in general surgery, plastics (including microsurgery), and vascular (open and endovascular) procedures
  • Candidates should check skills checklist sub-packet for strong skills in the specified domains
  • Night shift work involved with potential for block scheduling
