Registered Nurse / Hospice

Job Summary:
Hospice Nurse in Oregon. This contract position involves supporting the transition to HCHB PointCare across multiple locations, with a focus on training, on-site implementation support, and precepting staff during go-live. The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience with electronic medical record (EMR) implementation and AI-supported tools, with most responsibilities centered around precepting and support rather than bedside care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: October 12, 2026, through November 20, 2026, with shifts of 8 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: One year of home health hospice experience, Oregon license pending acceptance, tech-savvy, reliable, personable, and capable of supporting others. HCHB PointCare experience required for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). No RTO will be accepted for this short-term contract.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous HCHB experience, Compassus experience, and experience with mobile apps are preferred but not required for Registered Nurses (RNs).
  • Additional Information: Clinicians will complete three weeks of HCHB PointCare trainingTuesday and Thursday in-person, Monday and Friday virtualfollowed by three weeks of on-site implementation support during go-live. During this period, clinicians will serve as preceptors, guiding staff and travelers with limited bedside care responsibilities unless ride-along support is needed.
