Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is sought for a 13-week assignment in York, Maine. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week, primarily during daytime shifts, with a weekend call rotation. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working in an ambulatory surgical unit (ASU) or critical care environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of experience in an ASU or Critical Care unit, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
• Additional Information: Successful candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients, including monitoring vital signs, managing patient recovery, and responding to emergencies. Call rotation during weekends is included in the schedule.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
