Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) Sylva, North Carolina. This full-time contract position involves providing high-quality care on a medical surgical floor within an acute care facility. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to delivering excellent patient experiences and ensuring clinical excellence during assigned shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical surgical nursing, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common diagnoses and treatments related to medical surgical nursing; strong clinical competencies and patient care skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required based on unit rotation
• Additional Information: The position is at an 86-bed acute care hospital with a focus on providing a world-class patient experience. The facility offers a variety of service lines including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, and emergency medicine. Orientation is scheduled beginning August 31, 2026, with specific dates in September, October, November, and December.
