Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry Nursing (RN) Springfield, MO. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a telemetry unit, utilizing clinical skills to monitor cardiac and other vital signs. The role demands a professional with adaptive abilities to function within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, supporting patient safety and comfort throughout the assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700; Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri), BLS from AHA only, must have 4 trauma credits OR must have them completed within the first two weeks from start, NIHSS (may be submitted without, but must obtain prior to start).
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS from AHA only.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
