Registered Nurse / Operating Room Pediatrics Only

Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatrics Nurse (OR PEDS) for a facility in a trauma level 1 setting. This position involves delivering direct patient care to pediatric patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure efficient workflows, patient safety, and optimal clinical outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/20/2026 to 12/19/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure / certification / registration as a Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to the start date; Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire; BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire; Diploma from an accredited school or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 or more years of operating room registered nurse experience; Pediatric RN experience is a plus.
• Additional Information: The unit features 14 trauma level one operating rooms and 2 endo procedure rooms, dedicated to pediatric surgical care. Applicants must meet all licensure and certification requirements at the time of start.
