Registered Nurse / Clinic (No Specific Specialty)

Job Summary:
The Clinic (No Specific Specialty) is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for an outpatient infusion center located in the local area. The position involves providing infusion therapy and chemotherapy treatments in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing chemotherapy patients and possess the necessary certifications and skills to deliver safe and effective care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) chemotherapy certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical settings, charting experience using Epic electronic medical records, experience with chemotherapy and infusion therapies, managing ports, administering blood products, and caring for oncology patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient infusion or chemotherapy centers, strong patient education skills, and familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Additional Information: The role requires adherence to chemotherapy safety protocols and infusion procedures. Candidates should be comfortable handling complex treatments and supporting patient and family education. Orientation hours are approximately 40, and compliance with all onboarding and credentialing requirements is mandatory.
