Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in the Houston area. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment, supporting a variety of procedures including orthopedic, spine, neuro, vascular, general, bariatrics, robotics, and urology. The position offers a dynamic work setting with a focus on patient safety, efficiency, and team collaboration.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, CPR certification from the American Heart Association, at least 2 years of OR nursing experience, and current BLS certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic procedures and DaVinci robotic systems
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit has 9 operating room suites plus a dedicated cystoscopy room, staffed by a team of 50 professionals. Staff work in either day or night shifts, with patient ratios of 1:1. Typical procedures include orthopedic, spinal, neuro, vascular, bariatric, and robotic surgeries.
