Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients across diverse age groups, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The nurse works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care and promote positive outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a current temporary/interim RN license. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to the specialty is also preferred.
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and professional standards. The role involves direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation in accordance with policies. The position may include supervising staff and work flow within the department. The RN will interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care effectively and promote excellent patient outcomes.
