Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Located in the region. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care for adult patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, amputation, and multi-trauma. The role requires collaboration within a transdisciplinary team in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment, with an emphasis on patient-centered care to promote recovery and independence.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts starting at 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 1+ year of experience (no new graduates), experience with Cerner electronic health record system, and work experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical units.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Neurovascular and trauma patient populations, proficiency in working with complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
  • Additional Information: Unit supports 14-28 beds and is expanding to a second unit on the same floor. Patient ratios are 6:1 for RNs and 7:1 for LPNs. The position involves working in a team environment with a culture of collaborative patient care. Scrub color required is navy blue. Reporting time is 6:45 AM or PM. Parking is available at the back or side of the building.
