Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in the healthcare setting. This position involves providing high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. The role offers opportunities to develop clinical expertise and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan nursing license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 2 years of full-time medical-surgical nursing experience, and current certifications as listed above.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level II or Level I trauma experience, recent skills checklist completion within one year.
• Additional Information: The position is on a 60-bed medical-surgical unit with mixed acuity patient populations, including post-surgical cases, medical conditions, traumas, strokes, and inpatient hospice. The role emphasizes patient safety, evidence-based practice, and holistic care within a collaborative team environment. Successful candidates must adhere to a strict attendance policy and demonstrate effective communication and time management skills.
