Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a hospital environment. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across various specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, endovascular procedures, urology, and obstetrics. The RN will support critical surgical interventions, maintain compliance with hospital policies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment spans from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Active Michigan nursing license, 2+ years of OR experience, completion of a skills checklist within one year of application, certifications including BLS (American Heart Association).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedic, general, endovascular, urology, or obstetrics procedures.
• Additional Information: The facility has a strict 3-strike attendance policy effective 6/1/2024. Absences or lateness exceeding 20 minutes three times will result in immediate termination unless supported by evidence such as communicable disease or hospitalization. References are not required; however, a Michigan license verification is mandatory. The candidate should provide relevant licensure information such as LARA and Nursys profiles.
• On-Call Requirements: One weeknight of call per week from 7 pm to 11 pm, and one weekend of call per month, rotating between Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from 7 pm to 7 am, or Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm.
