Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a fast-paced medical ICU setting, with a patient population that includes sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, substance abuse, status Epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The position requires a minimum of two years of ICU experience, with a focus on vents and dips.

Job Details:

• Location: Not specified
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS and BLS certifications, two or more years of ICU experience handling complex patient cases including ventilator management and dips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit managing a diverse patient population with multiple comorbidities.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a high-acuity environment with patients presenting complex conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and substance abuse issues. The position demands critical thinking, rapid response capabilities, and adherence to hospital protocols.
