Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position available in the area. This role involves providing patient care on an acute care unit specializing in medical and surgical cases. The position starts on 09/28/2026 and concludes on 01/11/2027, requiring a professional with at least one year of experience and appropriate certifications.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated; ACLS, BLS Certifications, NIHSS; minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes include a local rate policy applying to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles.
  • Call off policy involves 12 hours per 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift.
  • Orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable hours with guaranteed hours not applying during orientation.
  • Charting system used is EPIC.
