Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in a fast-paced, specialized Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a capacity of 30 beds. The role involves managing patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, substance abuse, and neurological issues like status epilepticus and encephalopathy. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant ICU experience, and experience with ventilators and patient monitoring is required.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, a minimum of two years of ICU experience, and work history within similar critical care environments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing septic patients, respiratory support, and complex neurological cases.
• Additional Information: The role requires working in a high-acuity setting with a variety of critically ill patients. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and ability to respond promptly to emergency situations are essential.
