Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a specialized department within the healthcare provider. This role involves providing postpartum, labor, and delivery care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on supporting patients through critical stages of childbirth and postpartum recovery. The position is based in a healthcare setting that prioritizes patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Required Qualifications: Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) or Postpartum experience, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: This position involves on-call duties, with 24 hours of call per 6-week schedule. Multiple openings are available, with immediate start date preferred. The role requires thorough knowledge of postpartum and labor and delivery patient care, adherence to hospital protocols, and a compassionate approach to patient support.
