Job Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position in a healthcare facility located in a community setting. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care during a variety of surgical procedures. The position requires flexibility, clinical competence across multiple specialties, and availability for scheduled shifts, including holidays.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with variable call. Minimum of 40 hours per week. The start date is 11/01/2026 with an end date of 01/30/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Operating Room (OR) experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. EMR: Epic. Prior travel experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be competent in orthopedic surgery, total joint procedures, fractures of ankle and hip, gynecologic, robotic, urology, general, ENT, ortho spine surgeries. No block scheduling will be accommodated. The candidate must be available to work during Christmas Day. The organization requires all demographic information to be loaded at the time of submission, including address, email, date of birth, full name, and social security number, as RTO or schedule requests must be included upon submission.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required (if applicable).
