Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, including EP, cath, and structural cases. The position requires collaboration with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the applicable state, graduation from an accredited nursing program, minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, ability to work in a clinical setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Case types: EP (Electrophysiology), cath (cardiac catheterization), and structure cases, including ablations, device implantations, lead extractions, and structural heart procedures
• Case Load: Three rooms operating concurrently with 3 staff members in each; case volume varies daily with approximately 5-6 cath procedures and 2-5 EP procedures depending on schedule and physician needs. Case volume may fluctuate due to unpredictable factors such as add-on procedures, physician time off, and cancellations
• Travel Required: No
