Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nursing position available in a non-profit community hospital. The role involves providing advanced patient care within the ICU, including managing chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, and monitoring femoral arterial sheaths. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of critical patient types and procedures, supporting both ICU and Telemetry patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; 0 years of experience; flexible to float throughout the hospital at ICU level or below; available to work every other weekend; ability to wear any color scrub uniform.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with art line, Impella, and/or intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) devices; experience with above and below patient types, chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, and monitoring femoral arterial sheaths.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing patients with CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, diabetes mellitus, blood product administration, Bipap, cerebrovascular accident overflow, and post-cardiac cath patients. The unit regularly sees both ICU and Telemetry patients. This position is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and end on 01/16/2027.
