Registered Nurse / Emergency Room Pediatric

Job Summary:
Pediatric Emergency Room (ER PEDS) nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care in the pediatric emergency environment, including triage, trauma, and mental health support. The position requires experienced professionals capable of managing pediatric cases with varied acuity levels and supporting a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB); minimum of 1 year and 6 months of pediatric emergency department experience, with at least 6 months of triage and trauma experience; general pediatric emergency care, mental health, trauma, and triage experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position includes responsibilities related to providing high-quality pediatric emergency care, triage, and trauma management. The facility operates 24/7, with appropriate staffing ratios to ensure optimal patient care.
