Job Summary
Psychiatric Unit Nurse Nights Location unspecified. This position involves providing patient care within a psychiatric unit at a level II trauma center that includes adolescent psychiatric beds. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Model of Behavior (MOAB); EMR experience preferred, specifically with EPIC; minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system (experience preferred); familiarity with psychiatric patient care.
• Float: No floating requirements specified.
• Additional Information: The unit supports a total of 437 beds, including 26 adolescent psychiatric beds. Support staff includes mental health technicians (MHTs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with effective ratios of 1:7 or 1:8 on day shifts, and 1:10 to 1:12 on night shifts. Proper scrub color is flexible as long as it contains no offensive words or images. The program name is SimpliFi Travel.
