Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care within the emergency setting. The position entails utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient education. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours weekly.
• Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification - At least 1 year of clinical experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: - The assignment duration is 13 weeks with an option to extend. - The interview will be conducted via phone. - The position involves working on a block schedule with occasional weekends. - No on-call requirements. - Skills required include clinical knowledge, analytical abilities to develop effective nursing care plans, and strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
