Job Summary
Hospice Nursing in a hospice care environment is centered on providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes, nursing facilities, group homes, or assisted living communities. The primary registered nurse is responsible for managing a caseload of patients, leading interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring symptom management excellence. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a life-changing difference through clinical expertise and compassionate support. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional backup for weekends and on-call responsibilities.
Job Details

- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, education in nursing, and 1 year of clinical experience in hospice or related fields.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in symptom management, critical thinking skills, and comfort in teaching patients and caregivers.
- Additional Information: Hospice nurses serve as educators and advocates, assisting patients in identifying personal goals of care and empowering caregivers. The role requires assessment, critical thinking, and leadership within the interdisciplinary team. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
