Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Critical Care Nursing (ICU) Located in the region, this position involves providing direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit. The role requires applying scientific nursing principles, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care during night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; a valid professional license within the state of practice or nurse licensure compact; additional requirements for a compact license include verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify; proof of right to work in the United States; critical care experience in a hospital setting; minimum of 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic vital sign monitoring, lab work interpretation, and invasive procedures such as IV protocols, hemodynamic monitoring, and electrophysiology.
  • Additional Information: Critical Care Nurses (ICU/CCU) provide specialized bedside care, administer medications, educate patients and families, interpret diagnostic tests, and respond to life-saving situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols. They monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and ensure proper functioning of medical devices and lines.
