Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position based in Madison, WI. This role involves providing high-quality inpatient care within a fast-paced, 28-bed medical-surgical unit at a Magnet designated hospital. The successful candidate will deliver patient-centered care for adults and geriatrics, utilizing advanced technology and participating in interdisciplinary collaboration to promote health and wellness.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty, Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or a compact RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and passing a telemetry test prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system, community hospital experience, and telemetry experience.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Skill Set: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Additional Information: Candidate must pass a strict pass/fail telemetry exam in two attempts, with adult and pediatric sections. Travelers will be required to float as needed. Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
