Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (Specialty: Labor and Delivery Department) in Asheville, NC. This position involves providing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and clinical standards, supporting positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification requirements include a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN), with no minimum years of experience specified. Candidates must be located within 30+ miles of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Labor and Delivery or maternal health is preferred.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes a 4-hour hospital overview followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor. Scrub color codes for staff include navy and white for RNs, galaxy blue for CNAs, purple for sitters, medium gray/Pewter for RTs, and sage green for LPNs. Kronos clock-in instructions are provided for time tracking. Tobacco use is prohibited on campus properties.
• Travel and Mileage: Locations within 50+ miles have specific mileage allowances.
