Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurse position available in a facility setting. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, monitor health data, provide health education and counseling, and execute medical functions as delegated. The position requires flexibility to float within departments based on business needs and may involve being placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3-12 hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekends rotating.
• Required Qualifications: - An active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or a valid Compact RN license. - BLS (American Heart Association) certification. - ACLS (American Heart Association) certification. - 1+ years of nursing experience. - Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor`s degree in Nursing is preferred. - Ability to perform essential nursing duties and possess the necessary skills and knowledge. - Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred. - Certification for relevant units or services is preferred.
• Additional Information: - The nurse will be responsible for health data assessment, health teaching, counseling, therapy and treatment planning, documentation, resource utilization, and execution of medical functions. - May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. - May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.
