Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in a progressive care setting. The nurse will utilize professional nursing practices and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license, BLS certification is required, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred.
  • Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and documentation. The position may involve supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, participating in unit or facility leadership, and engaging in professional development activities. Candidates should be prepared to work in a physically demanding environment, responding quickly to patient needs, and utilizing proper body mechanics and safety precautions.
