Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
The healthcare professional, specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry, will be working in a community hospital located in Lake Havasu City. This position involves delivering patient care within a 40-bed unit focusing on adult and geriatric populations, including total joint, surgical patients, and those with acute on chronic medical conditions. The role offers a nights shift schedule, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week, supporting a fast-paced, teamwork-driven environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS certification, recent acute care experience, at least 2 years of RN experience, ability to handle a 6 patient ratio, teletherapy experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Preceptor and charge nurse experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including assignments to the intermediate care unit and emergency department.
• Additional Information: No block schedule requests; orientation occurs weekly. This position is based in an outside recreation area with access to mountains and lakes, close to major cities, offering a vibrant lifestyle alongside professional growth opportunities.
