Licensed Practical Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
Long Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position located in Harmony, MN. This role involves providing patient care in a long-term care facility with variable shifts predominantly in the evening or night hours. The position offers a flexible work schedule with guaranteed hours and opportunities to float between facilities as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, primarily in the evening or night hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minnesota LPN license (must be active), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2+ years LPN experience, 1 year of long-term care experience, and charting experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Matrix charting system.
• Float: Will be required to float to Gundersen Tweeten as needed, which is approximately 25 miles apart.
• Additional Information: This is a 13-week contract with a start date of October 5, 2026, and an end date of January 3, 2027. The facility has 43 beds, with staffing comprising 1 nurse and 2 CNAs during night shifts, and a charge nurse during days/evenings. Candidates should be resilient, proactive, capable of managing change, and able to work independently. Scrub colors should be work-appropriate solids or prints. Orientation week is not guaranteed; the traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed. Orientation includes 8-hour unbillable days, with a requirement to commence the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of acceptance.
