Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse opportunity located in Hermitage, TN. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a 33-bed unit with a patient ratio of 6:1 during the day and 7:1 at night. The assignment includes working night shifts with scheduled hours of 12 per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on 10/05/2026 and concluding on 01/04/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, associates or bachelor`s degree in Nursing, Tennessee location, 1 year of nursing experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and proficiency with electronic documentation systems such as Meditech
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a medical surgical setting, strong procedural skills, and familiarity with hospital policies and guidelines
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes equipment including IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs). Staff work in a rotation that includes floating to other appropriate areas when needed. The unit values a team with experienced staff and offers an environment with newer equipment and technology designed to enhance patient care.
• Floating: Float: Float rotation may be required.
