Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse Hermitage, Tennessee. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a 33-bed medical-surgical unit. The role requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort, utilizing advanced procedures and equipment in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; educational background in nursing; no minimum experience required; ability to work in Hermitage, Tennessee; certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior medical-surgical nursing experience, familiarity with Meditech documentation system, and experience with IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs
• Float: Float rotation to other appropriate units may be required
• Additional Information: The role involves working with a team that includes three techs per shift, utilizing hospital-specific policies and procedures. The unit values staff with strong procedural skills and a focus on patient care excellence. Candidates should be adaptable to unit guidelines and patient experience standards.
