Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Nurse position is available at a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, provide health education and counseling, and support patient well-being through therapy, treatment, and medical functions execution.

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; (ACLS, NRP, PALS as appropriate for unit or service) certifications preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree of Nursing
• Responsibilities include health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, documentation, resource utilization, patient referral, and executing delegated medical functions.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs.
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Duration: Start date 09/21/2026 through end date 01/16/2027.
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years required.
